Sohaib qualified from Guy's Hospital in 1991 and worked for a number of years in general dentistry and hospital posts in oral surgery, orthodontics and restorative dentistry. After obtaining the Fellowship in Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in 1995, he worked as a Specialist Registrar in Restorative Dentistry at Guy's Hospital, during which time I also completed a Masters in Conservative Dentistry at the Eastman Dental Institute. In 2002, he was awarded Intercollegiate Specialty in Restorative Dentistry signifying completion of specialist training. He is thus currently employed (part time) as an NHS consultant in Restorative Dentistry at the Parsons Green Health Centre in Fulham, which is run by Hammersmith and Fulham Primary Care Trust.

Sohaib is registered with the GDC as a Specialist in Restorative Dentistry, Prosthodontics, Endodontics and Periodontics and would also welcome referrals for the surgical placement of implants and their subsequent restoration.

In addition to working at Specialist Dental in Guildford, he also works in a private specialist referral practice in Notting Hill Gate, 42 The Dental Practice. He presently runs a number of postgraduate courses in the South East. He is a Mentor for the Astra Tech Implant system, aiding dentists treatment plan, place and restore dental implants.

Sohaib has three children and divides his time between them and his dentistry.
